Twice a month mesorahDC sponsors Shabbat services and dinners for young, single professionals at the beautiful Sixth and I historic synagogue:

The lovely 6th and I Synagogue Sanctuary

Carlebach Service

To usher in Shabbat, we begin with a traditional easy-to-follow service, based on the stirring melodies of the late Jewish composer, Shlomo Carlebach. Explanations and a running commentary accompany the service to help everyone feel connected.

Enjoy delicious food, wonderful company and conversation, and joyous singing

Friday , May 21st
6:30 p.m. - Carlebach Service
7:45 p.m. - Dinner
 Saturday -  9:45 am services/12:00 pm lunch (no charge for lunch but please RSVP).
Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, 600 I St. NW
  • The cost for the dinner is $15.00 per person
  • If you come with a friend, it's half price for each
